Sunday Morning
We gather on Sunday to celebrate Holy Eucharist. Eucharist is an ancient word that means "thanksgiving”, the sacrament commanded by Christ for the continual remembrance of his life, death, and resurrection, until his coming again. We believe that the bread and wine in Eucharist are the outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual grace given to Christ's people and received by faith. All who need Jesus Christ and seek an encounter with our Risen Lord are welcome to receive Holy Communion at St. John's.
Our Sunday worship service begins at 9am - it uses contemporary language and follows Rite II of the Book of Common Prayer. Music and hymn singing are integral parts of this service. We are blessed to have talented musician Stephen Sikorski, who plays with grace and skill.
